American Red Cross aims to boost summer blood donations with personalized sunglasses

The American Red Cross is facing challenges in collecting blood donations during the summer as regular donors go on vacation and schools are closed. To prevent shortages, particularly of type O blood, they are urging donations and have partnered with Goodr to offer personalized sunglasses to donors from July 1 through July 14. These sunglasses come with stickers to display the donor's blood type, encouraging participation from the less than 3% of Americans who donate yearly. Donors can schedule appointments through various channels to ensure they receive their sunglasses while supplies last.
