Police seek man accused of shooting man in DDOT bus

Police are searching for a suspect in his 50s, described as wearing a black baseball cap and white T-shirt, who shot a 26-year-old man on a Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus without a clear motive. In response to this and a separate incident where a bus driver allegedly stabbed a passenger after an altercation, DDOT announced increased security measures, including random bus boardings by police and additional security both in uniform and undercover to ensure the safety of riders and drivers.
