A 4Warn Weather Alert has been issued for today due to another round of oppressive heat and humidity.
A heat advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today for all of Southeastern Michigan.
Highs will be in the low 90s with heat indices near 100 degrees. Mostly sunny today, but with the heat and humidity, you can’t rule out an isolated pop-up.
Tomorrow’s forecast
There is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday. Forecasted highs tomorrow are back in the low 90s with high humidity, but the heat advisory has not been extended into tomorrow due to the uncertainty of thunderstorms possibly affecting high temperatures.
Looking ahead
Wednesday will be wet as we track a cold front pushing across the region. Dry weather and cooler temperatures arrive later this week into the weekend. In fact, highs will likely fall below average into the 70s by Thursday and Friday with overnight lows into the 50s. As of right now, the weekend is looking to be seasonal and sunny.
