What was supposed to be a fun Sunday for a Metro Detroit family took an ugly turn after a misunderstanding over peaches became a whole ordeal.

Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill will be hosting its annual Lavender Market festival this weekend.

As the weather starts to cool down, cider mills have started to open with doughnuts, cider and a bounty of fall goodies.

ARMADA, Mich. - A man from St. Clair Shores has been charged with making a terrorist threat Wednesday against Blake's Apple Orchard and Cider Mill in Armada. The cider mill is a staple in Macomb County and has never had an issue until this week. Police went to Keck's St. Clair Shores home, where police said he made further threats directed at the customers of Blake's Orchard and Cider Mill. Terrorist charge issuedThe Macomb County Prosecutor's Office is charging Keck with one count of making a terrorist threat, a 20-year felony. He is to have no contact with Blake's Orchard.

DETROIT – Saturday's rain and wind are gone, leaving us with a dry Sunday and highs near 50…not bad for those of you planning on tailgating before or after the Lions game, or heading to the Cider Mill today.
