Missing Detroit art student’s remains recovered in Cancun after a 3-day search

The remains of Alejandro Gonzalez, a 20-year-old art student from Detroit's College for Creative Studies, were found in Cancun after a three-day search. Gonzalez was swept away while rescuing a friend from a wave near the Caribbean Sea. Known for his passion for art and community support, Gonzalez's death has deeply affected those at his college and beyond.
