Bank robbery suspect arrested at coffee shop nextdoor

A suspected bank robber was apprehended by police in Dearborn Heights shortly after allegedly robbing the Dearborn Federal Savings Bank on Telegraph Road. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on April 24, when the suspect reportedly brandished a handgun and demanded money from a teller. The suspect was found inside a nearby Tim Hortons, attempting to disguise himself with a wig. Police recovered the stolen money, and the suspect is now in custody with charges pending.
