Dundee wrestling paused amid hazing investigation
Dundee Community Schools is investigating allegations of hazing and physical assault within the Dundee High School wrestling team, initiated by an anonymous complaint. Superintendent Scott Leach announced the inquiry, which includes a Title IX investigation and local law enforcement involvement. Parent Neil Stephenson shared experiences of a "toxic program," highlighting past incidents involving his son, Connor Kiernan, that included physical abuse, unaddressed complaints, and a culture of favoritism towards high-performing athletes. Despite moving away, Stephenson seeks to prevent further harm, urging transparency and accountability in the ongoing investigation.
