Howell man arrested after high-speed motorcycle chase in Livingston County

A 41-year-old Howell man was arrested after a high-speed chase in Livingston County early Wednesday. The chase began when a deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding at 70 mph in a 40 mph zone. Police said he fled at speeds nearing 100 mph, abandoned the motorcycle in an apartment complex, and fled on foot.
