Ford recalls over 1 million vehicles due to software error
Ford Motor Company is recalling over 1 million vehicles due to a software error affecting the rearview camera. The issue, identified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, could cause the camera image to delay, freeze, or not display, increasing crash risks. The recall involves models such as Ford Broncos, F-150s, Mustangs, and Lincoln Navigators manufactured between 2021 and 2024. Dealers will update the software free of charge via an over-the-air update, with notification letters to be sent by June 16.
