Spirit Airlines plane evacuated at Detroit Metro Airport due to bomb threat

A Spirit Airlines flight en route to Los Angeles was evacuated at Detroit Metro Airport on Thursday morning due to a bomb threat. Passengers were deplaned and taken to the Evans Terminal while law enforcement inspected the aircraft. After the inspection, Spirit Airlines confirmed that guests were rescreened and the aircraft was cleared.
