Beloved Belle Isle Giant Slide back in action for summer fun

The Giant Slide on Belle Isle in Detroit, a 40-foot-tall historic attraction, reopened after a delayed start to the summer season. Initially opened in 1967, it gained renewed attention in 2022 when it was temporarily shut down due to safety concerns after riders experienced excessive speed.
