Join our Go 4 It event to support bike donations for those in need

Local 4, in partnership with Free Bikes 4 Kidz, MI-Cycle, and Back Alley Bikes, is organizing the Wheelie Good Cause event to collect used and new bikes for Metro Detroit. The event will take place on June 10 at Oakland Mall, where donated bikes will be cleaned and repaired for future distribution to those in need. These organizations collaborate with community groups to distribute the bikes, emphasizing sustainable practices, cycling education, and addressing transportation inequalities. Free Bikes 4 Kidz, since 2018, has given away over 10,000 bikes, while Back Alley Bikes and MI-Cycle focus on recycling, repairing bikes, and providing cycling access to underserved communities.
