Livingston County police chase ends in crash

A 42-year-old man from Ypsilanti, Jeremy Nelson, was arrested following a police chase in a stolen vehicle through Livingston County. The pursuit began on US-23 outside Fenton and continued as Nelson evaded spike strips and collided with another vehicle before crashing into a Chevrolet Silverado on Hughes Road. The Silverado's driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the University of Michigan Hospital. Nelson was arraigned on multiple charges, including fleeing, eluding, and concealing a stolen vehicle, and is held on a $100,000 bond.
