Oak Park celebrates 5th annual Juneteenth Jubilee

The 5th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee in Oak Park celebrated African American culture through dance performances and historical storytelling, emphasizing the significance of Juneteenth and the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The event also awarded $500 scholarships to local students and featured a “Walk a Mile in My Shoes” at the Oak Park High School track, highlighting the community's ongoing journey toward equity and justice.
