Students using AI show lower comprehension

A study by MIT investigated the effect of AI on students' critical thinking skills by comparing two groups. One group used AI to assist in writing essays, resulting in lower brain engagement and poorer performance. Conversely, the group that did not use AI showed greater creativity and a better grasp of the topics.
