Flooding on I-75 leads to hours-long traffic jam for drivers

Flooding on a two-mile stretch of I-75 around Seven Mile caused major traffic delays after minimal rainfall, due to a power outage at a pumping station. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) addressed the issue by using a generator to clear the water and is installing backup generators at approximately 80 more stations in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties to prevent future incidents.
