53 cats found in Farmington Hills hotel room

Animal Control officers found 53 cats in a Motel 6 room in Farmington Hills, occupied by a 51-year-old woman who knew each cat's name. The room was clean and well-maintained with multiple litter boxes. The woman was allowed to keep three cats due to their good condition, while the other 50 were taken to Oakland County Animal Control for adoption. No charges were filed against the woman.
