Judge sentences former gas station clerk for fatal shooting at Detroit store
Former gas station clerk Moad Mohamed Al-Gaham was sentenced to 20-50 years in a Michigan Correctional Facility after being found guilty of second-degree murder for shooting Anthony McNary. The incident occurred in 2023 at a Detroit ExxonMobil gas station, where an argument over beef jerky escalated. Al-Gaham confronted McNary for placing the item in his pocket, refused his payment, and locked him out of the store. Surveillance footage captured Al-Gaham shooting McNary in the head through the window with an unlicensed gun.
