Royal Oak doctor accused of sex with trafficked women, threatening their health care when unhappy

Dr. Gireesh Velugubanti, a neurologist from Royal Oak, is accused of engaging in sex with women from a sex trafficking ring and threatening to withhold medical care if dissatisfied, as per prosecutors. He faces charges related to human trafficking and drug conspiracy, with arraignment set at the 46th District Court. Antione Fulgiam, along with Chanel Rackard and Sherri Gress, is charged with human trafficking in connection to the Sonesta Suites trafficking ring.
