Judge sets $600,000 bond for woman accused in deadly Livonia hit-and-run
Tammy Sandoval, 55, of Mt. Morris, was arraigned on charges including operating while license suspended, causing death, and failure to stop at the scene of an accident, after allegedly hitting Tia Robinson and her 3-year-old twins during a hit-and-run in Livonia. The crash resulted in the death of the boy, Khalil, and critical injuries to Tia and her daughter Khloe. Sandoval's bond was set at $600,000, and if released, she must adhere to strict conditions, including wearing a GPS tether and undergoing alcohol testing. The Robinson family is coping with the tragedy, with Tia in a coma and Khloe recovering at home.
