Man dead after police shootout on Detroit’s east side

A man is dead after a police shootout early Tuesday morning on Detroit’s east side. Warren police confirmed a man was fatally shot in the early morning hours of July 8 in the area of Montlieu Avenue and Castle Avenue. According to police, it stemmed from an attempted arson and domestic violence investigation.
