White Lake Township garage break-in ends with teen killed, another wounded

A homeowner in White Lake Township shot at a group of seven individuals, reportedly teens and young adults, while they were allegedly attempting to break into his detached garage. The incident, occurring around 1 a.m. on July 8, resulted in one 17-year-old being injured and another found dead on Halfpenny Court. This marks the third break-in at the location within a year. Police have made two additional arrests and are determining potential charges against both the homeowner and those involved in the break-in, with the case now in the hands of the prosecutor. The investigation remains ongoing.
