McDonald’s manager stabbed to death after dispute with employee in Eastpointe

An argument at a McDonald’s in Eastpointe escalated when an employee, who had been sent home early, returned and fatally stabbed the manager near the drive-thru window. The manager succumbed to the injuries at the hospital. A customer in the drive-thru detained the suspect at gunpoint until the police arrived, preventing an escape. Witness Edward Ballestero described the chaotic scene, and police are seeking additional information from the public.
