More than 170 remain missing in Texas flood disaster

A FEMA task force has set up a command center at an RV park near the Guadalupe River in Texas Hill Country to coordinate rescue efforts following severe flooding that has left at least 120 people dead and 173 missing. Over 2,100 responders from state, local, and federal agencies, supported by volunteers like those from Mercy Chefs, are engaged in ongoing search and recovery operations. Mercy Chefs, aided by local volunteers, is providing thousands of meals daily to support first responders and survivors.
