Conditions developing for another heat wave in Metro Detroit

The workweek will begin cooler than normal, but temps are expected to rise to around 90 degrees on Wednesday in Metro Detroit. By Thursday, highs will be in the mid-90s with a heat index near 100 degrees. Although an isolated shower is possible on Thursday, a better chance of showers and thunderstorms will arrive for Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday.
