Police investigating after man allegedly attacked Wayne State student inside campus apartment

Authorities are investigating after a man allegedly attacked a woman inside the Anthony Wayne Drive Apartments at about 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Police say the man asked her to use the restroom, and once he was inside her apartment, the student said he indicated he had a knife and threatened to sexually assault her.
