Detroit police Captain Marcus Thirlkill talks murder-suicide between family on city's west side

Detroit police are investigating a triple shooting between family members on the city’s west side.The incident occurred on Tuesday (July 22) around 6 p.m. in the 20400 block of Pinehurst Street. Detroit police Captain Marcus Thirlkill said officers from the 12th Precinct discovered the three victims, who were pronounced dead at the scene.
