Former Pontiac school security guard sentenced for impregnating teenage student

Former Pontiac school security guard Marcos Rolon-Rivera was sentenced to 32 months to 15 years in prison for impregnating a teenage student, after being found guilty of criminal sexual conduct. Rivera, who worked at Pontiac Academy for Excellence, was 34 when he offered a 16-year-old student a ride, took her to a hotel, and had sex with her. He was terminated from his job for not showing up to work and was also removed from a reserve deputy program. The case came to light when Child Protective Services contacted police in August 2024, and Rivera was found guilty on June 16, 2025.
