Michigan football program fined millions after NCAA probe
The NCAA has issued punishments for Michigan football due to a sign-stealing investigation involving former staffer Connor Stalions, who allegedly violated rules by gathering sideline signals. Sanctions include four years of probation, significant fines, a reduction in scholarships and official visits, and limitations on recruiting communications. Head coach Sherrone Moore received a two-year show-cause order and a three-game suspension, while Jim Harbaugh faces a 10-year show-cause order starting in 2028. Additionally, Connor Stalions and Denard Robinson received eight-year and three-year show-cause orders, respectively.
