4 children stranded in Lake Superior rescued by Coast Guard

Four children stranded on a rock in Lake Superior near Black Beach Trailhead were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard on Sunday night. The children were airlifted by a helicopter from Traverse City due to unsafe water conditions preventing their departure.
