Detroit Red Wings to retire Sergei Fedorov’s jersey number

The Detroit Red Wings will retire Sergei Fedorov's No. 91 jersey on January 12, 2026, in a ceremony before a game against the Carolina Hurricanes, honoring him as part of the iconic Russian Five. Fedorov, an integral part of the team from 1990 to 2003, won three Stanley Cups and numerous individual accolades, including being the first European-trained player to win the Hart Memorial Trophy.
