Red Wings honor Sergei Fedorov with jersey retirement before Hurricanes game

The Detroit Red Wings will retire Sergei Fedorov’s jersey number 91 in a ceremony on January 12, 2026, before a game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Fedorov, a key member of the Russian Five, played 13 seasons with the Red Wings, winning three Stanley Cups and earning numerous accolades, including the Hart Memorial Trophy and Selke Trophy in the 1993-94 season.
