Man allegedly attacks Oakland County gym staff, leads police on chase, crashes

A man was arrested in West Bloomfield after allegedly attacking staff at a Planet Fitness with a metal object and leading police on a high-speed chase. He attempted to run over a police officer and crashed into multiple police vehicles before being apprehended following a brief struggle. Both the suspect and a police officer were hospitalized with minor injuries.
