Teen sentenced for murder of Oakland County deputy

Raymone Debose was sentenced to 33 to 60 years in prison for the first-degree murder of Oakland County Deputy Bradley Reckling, plus an additional two years for a felony firearm charge. Reckling was killed on June 22, 2024, during an ambush while tracking a stolen car in Detroit. Reckling's family emphasized the premeditated nature of the crime during the sentencing. Debose was the only one charged with murder among the three involved; Marquis Goins and Karim Moore received sentences for related charges.
