Full hearing: Bond set at $750K for driver accused of intentionally hitting man in Dearborn

A Dearborn man is facing charges after he intentionally hit a man who was crossing Michigan Avenue and then drove away, leaving the victim with critical injuries. Murtadha Jabbar Alizairij, 38, has been charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault and motor vehicle advisory, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. He was arraigned on Monday, Aug. 25, and his bond was set at $750,000.
