Detroit neighbors rescue children from house fire
A house fire on San Juan Drive in Detroit claimed the life of a grandmother, who had mobility issues and couldn't escape, while neighbors played a critical role in rescuing the family members. The fire, which broke out around 9 a.m. on August 26, resulted in five people being hospitalized, including two children in critical condition. Neighbors, including Jay Goody, Angela Boone, and TJ Davis, responded quickly, with Davis rescuing a toddler and performing chest compressions on another child until firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
