Oakland County-based church raided by FBI

Two religious group leaders, David Taylor and Michelle Brannon, face federal charges for orchestrating a human trafficking and money laundering scheme. They allegedly operated call centers in multiple states, including Michigan, where victims were forced to solicit donations without pay and subjected to harsh conditions such as sleep deprivation and physical assaults if they failed to meet impossible targets. The scheme reportedly raised millions of dollars that funded the leaders' luxury lifestyles. Raids were conducted by the FBI in Michigan, Florida, and Texas as part of the investigation.
