Go 4 It: Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Swim completes 411-mile journey across Michigan

It took one day longer than they planned -- but they got it done! The 411-mile journey of the "Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Swim" is now complete, symbolically finishing the intended route of the famous freighter that went down in Lake Superior back in 1975. The relay started a month ago -- up near the Fitzgerald shipwreck site -- and ended today at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle. The swimmers were greeted by applause, including from some family members of the Fitzgerald Sailors.
