Loved ones mourn 20-year-old woman killed in murder-suicide in Westland

Parents of 20-year-old Sarah Carroll say her ex-boyfriend shot and killed her at the apartment complex on Drew Circle Drive in Westland before taking his own life. Jennifer Carroll said she learned her daughter’s ex-boyfriend had been stalking her for the past two months. She said Sarah was trying to obtain a personal protection order but had never confided in her about what she was going through.
