Video captures truck crash through backyard fence, hit garage on Detroit's west side

A truck crashed through a backyard fence and into a garage on Ashton Street in Detroit’s west side, near the Southfield Freeway and Grand River. Witnesses reported hearing screeching tires before the impact, and video footage captured the driver escaping the vehicle moments before the crash. The driver sustained injuries but was seen walking afterward, and no other injuries were reported. Homeowners noted this is not the first such incident in the neighborhood.
