Detroit's arts and culture get major investment from nonprofit

Detroit is getting a nearly $20 million boost to its arts, technology, and public spaces, thanks to a nonprofit organization focused on funding free expression, arts, and culture in the community. The funding will support several initiatives, including Black Tech Saturdays, the Joe Louis Greenway, the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), and the Greenway Project, among others. Joining the conversation about these investments is Latrice McClendon, the Detroit program director for the Knight Foundation.
