Hans the lizard back home after shop theft

A 6-month-old lizard named Hans was stolen from Lou's Pet Shop in Grosse Pointe Woods during maintenance when his cage was left unlocked. Two thieves distracted an employee while one pocketed the lizard, endangering its life. They were traced through information they left behind, but the shop owner, Don, opted not to press charges, banning them instead. Lou’s Pet Shoppe, which houses many exotic animals and helps with rescues, welcomed Hans back safely after 12 hours, where he now rests near another lizard, Bud.
