Water main break disrupts Novi, Walled Lake, Wixom with boil water advisory

A major water main break in Novi has led to school closures and a boil water advisory for parts of Novi, Walled Lake, and Wixom. It turned 14 Mile Road into a lake and damaged nearby infrastructure. Residents are advised to boil water for at least 48 hours before use, with non-drinkable water available for sanitation at the Department of Public Works and drinkable water at ITC Community Sports Park. Repairs are ongoing, and the cause of the breach remains unknown.
