Trade Up: Industry leaders, schools unite for Wayne County Manufacturing Day 2025

Wayne County is set to host "Manufacturing Day 2025" on October 2, an annual event aimed at connecting students with industry leaders to explore lucrative careers in manufacturing. Now in its 11th year, the event will feature participation from 27 companies, seven post-secondary institutions, and 35 schools. Greg Pitoniak, CEO of the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance, and LyShay McGowan, special projects coordinator, highlighted the event's significance and its impact on the community.
