First witness testifies in trial of men accused of posing as DTE workers, killing man
Kristin Nahass, a neighbor, testified about witnessing a slow-moving white pickup truck with DTE decals near Murray's home on the morning of his death. As she walked her dogs, she noticed the truck, driven at about 5 mph, with a squeaky belt, and observed two men inside. Despite initially wanting to confront them, she hesitated due to the DTE decals but found it odd when she later saw a police presence. Nahas recalled the driver wearing a balaclava and the other man with a hood, which seemed unusual given the warm weather.
