17th witness testifies in trial of men accused of posing as DTE workers, part 2

During the trial, Detective Wendell Smith was cross-examined about his trip to Louisiana to gather evidence and interview Hernandez. A video of the interview revealed Hernandez's attempt to negotiate with a prosecutor, claiming his wife's ignorance of his actions, while refusing to admit involvement in a crime that could result in life imprisonment. The defense questioned Smith on Friday about any visible injuries on Hernandez, to which Smith responded there were none.
