Driver runs red light, causes deadly hit-and-run on Detroit east side

A driver ran a red light at the intersection of Chalmers and Seymour streets on Detroit’s east side, causing a deadly hit-and-run accident on October 4. The driver hit two other cars and fled the scene on foot. A passenger in one of the cars was killed, and three others were injured but are expected to survive. Detroit police are actively working to identify the driver, urging anyone with information to contact them.
