Rochester Municipal Park hosts Scare Away Hunger 5K, family fun run and more

Neighborhood House is hosting its annual Scare Away Hunger 5K and Family Fun Run, presented by MSU Federal Credit Union, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Rochester Municipal Park with a 9:00 AM start; the event unites neighbors to fight food insecurity by raising funds and connections that directly support local residents in need and features a costume-friendly 5K run/walk, a 1-mile Family Fun Run (strollers welcome), a new pancake breakfast, and post-race music, kids’ crafts and refreshments.
