Full hearing: Judge denies bond for Macomb County man accused of raping 12-year-old

A judge denied bond for a man accused of pulling a 12-year-old girl off the sidewalk and sexually assaulting her at his home in Eastpointe. Andrew Logan Williams, 52, appeared in court on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, and was arraigned on the charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 13, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 13, kidnapping and sexually abusive commercial activity. He was also charged with being a habitual third offender. Judge Kathleen Galen denied bond, saying "there is no condition of release that would reasonably ensure community safety or the defendant's appearance."
