Macomb County mansion ambush: What we’ve learned about suspect, shooting timeline

A suspect accused of targeting a well-known businessman in a shooting while he was leaving his Macomb County mansion last week is facing charges. Jasan Martin, 32, has been charged with assault with intent to murder, possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, carrying a weapon with an unlawful intent and three counts of felony firearm. He is also being charged as a habitual fourth offender. The shooting happened on Tuesday, Oct. 14, and video footage shows the shooter hiding between vehicles at Eddie Jawad's home, before emerging and firing shots at him.
